Lead Pastor
Believing
God has called him to plant a Pentecostal church in the City of
Pleasanton, California, Pastor Terry R. Baughman follows his heart of passion for people in
the Tri-Valley Area. His vision is to bring together those who desire a
God-experience in their lives. "If people can find a real
relationship with a real God who loves them and cares about their needs,
the gaping hole in their heart will be filled," Pastor Terry stated
concerning his reason for starting a new assembly. From that beginning,
he believes, The Pentecostals of Pleasanton will be able to respond to
the needs of others as they share the Good News of Jesus Christ and his
love!

PERSONAL:
Pastor
Terry Baughman is the Executive Vice President and Academic Dean at Christian
Life College
in Stockton, CA where he taught for the past eleven years. He has
previously served as founding pastor to Worship and Word-the Northwest
Church in Peoria, Arizona and pastor of Truth Center in Canyon, Texas.
Married for 27 years, he and his wife, Gayla traveled extensively
throughout the Southwest singing and preaching in many churches for a
total of nine years. They have two grown children, Marenda and Terry
Robert.
EDUCATION:
After
graduating from high school in Farmington, Arkansas, Terry Baughman
traveled to Stockton, California to pursue training in a well-known
Bible College. He earned a BA in Bible and Theology at Christian Life
College and a MA in Exegetical Theology from
Western Seminary,
Los Gatos, CA.
MINISTRY:
He
is an ordained minister and member of the United Pentecostal Church
International (UPCI).
He has served in a variety of ministries ranging from evangelistic
travels, to pastoring, planting a new church and teaching in a Christian
college, during his years of ministry.

Gayla M. Baughman
Women's Ministry Director
In addition to her ministry at The
Pentecostals of Pleasanton, Gayla is a faculty member
at Christian Life College where she also serves as
Academic Assistant, the instructor of several courses, and
the faculty advisor of the Open Door Ministries women’s
conference. She is also a member of the Women of the
Word commission of the UPCI. Gayla is the author of a
Pentecostal guide to social etiquette, Christian Social
Graces, as well as other publications. |

Jarrod Wilson
Assistant Pastor
As charter member of this church plant,
Jarrod has served in various aspects of the development
of The Pentecostals of Pleasanton. He now serves as an
assistant pastor and coordinates the technical
presentation of our worship service. He has a passion
for God and a willingness to serve. He is married and
has a young son, Simeon.

Violet Moore
Administrative Assistant
After many years in the deep south,
Violet has returned to the land of her youth. She brings
vast experience in business and prayer ministry. She
coordinates many areas of our church business and
accounting, but she also serves as the prayer team
leader for "Pleasanton Prayer" and as the host of our
monthly "Daughters of Zion" prayer group.
